SHC nurses are called to be leaders and to advance the profession of nursing through the pursuit of new knowledge, innovations, and improvements. Stanford, through the Office of Research and Patient Care Services, and under the transformational leadership of CNO Dale Beatty, promotes SHC’s mission “To care, to educate, to discover.” With this in mind, SHC nurses are inspired to initiate evidence-based practices, embark on research projects, generate new knowledge, implement cutting-edge technology, and work toward impactful advancements in the practice of nursing.
